Saint Romanos Choir of Beirut

The Members are essentially graduates of The “Saint Romanos School of Ecclesiastical Music” in the Orthodox Archdiocese of Beirut.

By the blessings of His Eminence Metropolitan Elias of Beirute blessings of His Eminence Metropolitan Elias of Beirut, the choir was founded in the year 2000.

The Members are essentially graduates of The “Saint Romanos School of Ecclesiastical Music” in the Orthodox Archdiocese of Beirut.

The Most Reverend Father Romanos Joubran is the choir’s leader and the school’s director.

The choir consists of three parts:

1- The Men’s Choir

2- The Women’s Choir

3- The Children’s Choir

The choir's purpose is to perform well known chants, especially those by Antiochian composers, in addition to some new compositions, and to perform holy services in Arabic, Greek and even English.

The choir has several publications.

Currently, The choir consists on around 40 members (males and females).

The choir has performed on several stages and in many churches throughout Lebanon, as well as other countries especially Greece, and in the USA.
