3 exceptional workshops, a premiere in Romania!

Workshop 1

"Old Russian Chants from Notable Manuscripts: History of Styles, Notations and Practical Singing”

 

We invite you to the first workshop held in Romania by Natalija Mosyagina, musicologist, medievalist, performer and conductor of "Kljuch Razumeniya" Ensemble.

The event will take place on Thursday, October 3rd 2019, from 10:00 a.m. to 01:00 p.m. in the Sinxar Hall of the Metropolitan Museum.

Workshop 2

"Specifics of Georgian Polyphony” 

 

The guest of the event is Svimon Jangulashvili, doctor in musicology, conductor of the Patriarchy Choir of Tbilisi Holy Trinity Cathedral (Georgia) and member of the well-Known Georgian Folk Music Ensemble "Basiani".

The event will take place on Friday, October 4th 2019, from 10:00 a.m. to 01:00 p.m. at the "Henri Coanda" Hall of the Palace of Culture.

Workshop 3

"Vocal Coaching in Neo-byzantine Chant”

 

The third edition of Iasi Byzantine Music Festival is offering you the possibility to take part in a workshop on vocal coaching in neo-byzantine chanting held by Georgios Bilalis, founder and conductor of the well-known Romeiko Ensemble from Athens, Greece

The event will take place on Saturday, October 6th 2019, from 11:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m.  at the Henri Coanda Hall of the Palace of Culture
